From ready-to-eat meal prep to meal kits, Toronto has an abundance of meal delivery services to ensure its citizens are well-fed. Generally, meal delivery services will deliver pre-prepped meals to your door each week, with plans typically having options for two to four people. In this article, we’ll be focusing on services and plans for families, that feed four (or more) people.

1. eFresh Meals

With recipes crafted by “Chopped Canada” contestant and Michelin-decorated chef Daniel Brelsford, eFresh Meals is a meal delivery service that brings restaurant-quality meals to your doorstep.

2. Today’s Menu

Today’s Menu is a hybrid meal pickup and meal delivery service that’s been around since 2002. All dishes are already prepared and frozen for your convenience and are simply reheated in the microwave or conventional oven. Some meals can take longer to thaw out and reheat, although most thaw out in less than 20 minutes and reheat in under 10 as well. Today’s Menu will deliver the dishes to your door every week, perfect for those with a busy schedule.

Today’s Menu has an extensive amount of weekly options for family meals. Instead of a plan, however, you’ll be paying for each individual meal, allowing you to customize your meal quanities everytime you order. Prices for main dishes start at $17.90 for a 4-serving meal.

Some meals on the menu include Rustic Apple Stuffing, Southwest Lime Chicken, Mediterranean Chicken Kebabs, Butter Chicken, Chana Masala and more.  There are also delicious dessert options like Oatmeal Cookies, Apple Crumble, and Homemade Chocolate Mousse Brownies. If you ask us, restaurants have some tough competition with these delicious-sounding dishes.

Today’s Menu uses both BPA-free vacuum sealed bags, and aluminium food trays that are recyclable, oven-friendly and microwave-friendly. Meals are delivered weekly in reusable thermal bags and picked up weekly upon your next delivery, allowing you and your family to save the planet while you enjoy your food.
