There are two family plans available, each with 4 servings: the 2-meal plan at $11.87 per serving and the 4-meal plan at $10.26 per serving. All meal plans deliver once a week with delivery day and price dependant on your location in the city. You can get free delivery if you spend more than $129.99.
eFresh offers an extensive array of meal choices weekly, such as Maple-Glazed Salmon, Braised Beef, Shanghai Chicken with Cashews, Chicken Carbonara and more. Meals take only 2 minutes to heat in the microwave. You can also order add-ons like cookies, brownies and Nanaimo bars to hold off hungry mouths between meals (or as a sweet treat after dinner).

Today’s Menu is a hybrid meal pickup and meal delivery service that’s been around since 2002. There are also delicious dessert options like Oatmeal Cookies, Apple Crumble, and Homemade Chocolate Mousse Brownies. 3. Farm’r Prepared Meals

Meals are delivered frozen weekly so they remain fresh until you’re ready to eat them. It’s worth noting that not all meals need to be defrosted, and it depends on the specific dishes you order. All packages come with instructions regarding how to heat and serve your meals.
Eating healthy can be hard, and so can finding healthy dishes that are kid approved. Farm’r doesn’t fall short with their variety. Some of their sample meals include Chicken Florentine Lasagna, Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Shepherd’s Pie, various pot pies, such as the classic Chicken Pot Pie, and more. They also offer classic desserts such as Chocolate Chip and Red Velvet cookies. Farm’r also sells gluten free items for those who might have dietary sensitives. 4. Cook It
While Cook It may be known as a meal kit delivery service, they also offer ready-to-eat meals. Like their kits, their ready-to-eat menu is available to view 3 weeks in advance so you can plan your meals accordingly. Cook It offers free delivery for a week’s worth of frozen meal delivery.
Choose from a plan with 4 portions and up to 7 different recipes, which comes out to $10.04 per portion. If you choose to take the base of 2 recipes, this comes out to $13.38 per portion. Dishes heat within two minutes and are ready to serve immediately.
Cook It is committed to reducing food waste and using sustainable packaging with their menu items. They use 100% recyclable materials in all of their kits (including ice packs) and ingredients are farmed ethically and sustainably, with fish purchased from Ocean-Wise approved fisheries. Fresh City Farms is a bit different from other service options on this list. Founded in Toronto, they started off as an online grocer and eventually expanded to include meal kits, prepped food, and produce boxes.
With Fresh City Farms, there are no plans and you’ll be paying for each of your meals instead, starting at $9.75 per plate. Delivery is $2.99; however, families who live in downtown or midtown Toronto have the option to choose a delivery time slot for $4.99. You can save on these delivery fees if you purchase the Seasons Pass Membership, which costs $79+ HST per year.
Fresh City Farms uses local and organic produce in all of their produce boxes and prepared foods so you know that your family is getting the best, even when you’re busy. Your delivery from Fresh City Farms is sustainable, with recyclable produce boxes and reusable glass jars for soups, salads, and main dishes recollected upon delivery.

The only 100% plant-based option on this and one of the few in the GTA, Green Zebra Kitchen is driven by their dedication to health and well-being. Although meal plans are geared towards singles and couples, they do offer 4 and 5 meal plans to feed a family of 4, or you can buy multiple dishes to build a full course meal. Made with organic ingredients, these healthy meals are usually reheated in 10 minutes or less, though frozen dishes take 30-45 minutes to reheat. Prices vary on the by size and weekly menu, though sharable dishes are around $9.90 per serving
Delivery with Green Zebra Kitchen ranges between $5.95 and $9.95. Food is delivered in insulated cooler bags which are recollected upon delivery, and the packaging is mostly recyclable with some exceptions. For families who want to incorporate more plant-based meals into their diets but find they don’t know where to start or don’t have the time, Green Zebra Kitchen is a great choice.
7. Honeybee Meals
Honey Bee Meals offers many dietary options on their weekly menu, such as dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, and low-carb options. Additionally, Honey Bee Meals ensure that as many people can enjoy their meals as possible by ensuring that their menu doesn’t contain any nuts or soy.
You have the option of selecting from three meal plans: the 4-meal, 6-meal, and 10-meal options. You can further customize this by selecting whether you want your meals to be regular sized, large, plant based, or low carb. Large meals, like the Cajun Chicken, are adequate for sharing with the family, sure to leave mouths watering. For maximum flexibility, you can choose to purchase the meal plan only once, or you can subscribe and save 5%. For 10 large meals with a suscription, this comes out to $17.57 per dish.

8. Power Kitchen
With locally sourced ingredients, Power Kitchen has an 8 week rotating menu to make sure your family gets fun and nutritious meals. There are a different plans to choose from, though families may lean more towards the Power Plan, which starts at $13.71 per meal, consisting of balanced meals with carbs, veg, and protein that even kids are bound to love. Other options include the Pro Athlete plan and the Lean Muscle plan, which have greater focus on protein and vegetables.
